Founder, owner and CEO Alec McGalliard founded McGalliard Consulting after a lifetime spent in the highly competitive, leadership driven world of nuclear energy.

Alec has been in the nuclear power industry for over 33 years, including six years spent in the United States Naval Nuclear Submarine Force. He has leadership and management experience with a proven record of success in organizational effectiveness, organizational culture, operations, continuous improvement, meeting facilitation, causal analysis, engineering and project management. Alec is the author of CARE To Lead: How to Master and Implement Four Keys to Leadership: Communication, Accountability, Relationships and Example of Excellence. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology. 

Alec was born and raised in Lenoir, N.C., and now lives in Bay City, Texas with his wife Carrie and has two children: Grant, a Texas Christian University graduate, and Chloe, a current Texas A&M student.
